Zoya loved Cathy's cabin in Lake Arrowhead. She thought it was a big doggie
playhouse.
Here I am!
Check out the great chandelier above Zoya - very cabinesque.
Mickey, Mickey's stuftie, Zoya and Rusty. Poor Mickey didn't know what to
think of these little furry things. "Are they dogs too mommy?"
I feel pretty!
Oh so pretty!
I feel pretty and witty and bright!
The local bandits came by every day. Actually they would run around the deck until someone put the peanuts in the box.
Wow, this was the bestest day ever Mom!
What?! Someone is robbing the bandits?
Fene and Cathy in front of the Lake Arrowhead Queen paddle boat. I have known Cathy for 32 years - she was my third grade Sunday School teacher. What a wonderful friendship we have!

Some of these cabins are pretty small.
Like this one....
and this one....
Hey...where did everybody go? I'm not doing any stairs until I know where everyone is.
More bandits?! No these were actually carved bears. Lake Arrowhead pine trees are suffering from a beetle that has taken over due to the drought. They removed over 150,000 dead trees from around the lake just last year. Most people keep the stump and turn it into beautiful carvings such as this.
Here's another one of those smaller cabins....
We had a great walk around the lake. There is a common area trail that leads from Cathy's cabin around the lake. It was a great dog day.
