We finally made it to Disney's California Adventure. We are standing under the remake of the San Fransico Exploratorium. Disney did a wonderful job of making scaled models of many of California's landmarks.

We rode the obligatory water ride which simulated the Gold Rush days.

Little geysers would spring up and spray the rafts.

...and of course there is Hollywood!

Marilyn and Fene walking Hollywood and Vine.

Appropriately, Marilyn and Christy with their role model - Cruella de Vil.

The brand new ride of the year - The Tower of Terror which simulates an old Twilight Zone episode. It take you up 6 stories in a haunted elevator and opens the door at the top so you see how far up you are and then it drops you free fall. It goes up and down so many times you only know you are falling because the glasses around Marilyn's neck begin to float when we fall. It is definitely a must for those extreme thrill seekers. We use 6th grade peer pressure to get Christy to ride it (and it worked)!

A scaled replica of Marilyn's favorite bridge, The Golden Gate. Marilyn's favorite city is San Francisco.

This was certainly my record catch!

Oooooo! A two for one deal!

Christy enjoying the roaming Mariachi band. I think she was hoping for a little tequila and blender action.

As always Disney has the best sets. This showed a 3D perception of Hollywood Boulevard.

This is Christy after The Tower of Terror - she was just a shaking puddle of mush. (Not really she's a tough broad just like us.)

All kinds of fun signs around the Hollywood set.

It's great how they make fun of the stereotypes.

Another great set in the Jim Henson theatre.

Marilyn and Christy getting a little Goofy. (A little piece of, that is).

Fene and Marilyn get the Big O in California.

Okay then we just got silly - and this is before the evening at the House of Blues. Hey is that Mickey getting fresh with me?

Hmmmm, I thought he'd be anotomically correct. I feel jipped.

Mickey and his girls.

Hey, who's taking the picture?

Now this is after the House of Blues, and the Vodka, and the rock musicians...I don't really remember the rest (the concussion, you know).

Just shameful.
