Springfield, Missouri and the Amazing Outdoor World

The beautiful hay farms were just being harvested.			Be sure and watch the Springfield Tractor Movie to see one of these babies in action.
	We were in Springfield for a wedding but we had some down time. As you know we just took up fishing so we went to the most amazing sporting goods store. Outdoor World! It was over 100,000 square feet of sporting supplies from fishing to hunting to whatever you can think of they had it.	This place was designed like a Disneyland for the hunter. There were stuffed animals everywhere and each department was themed.	Now, we're newbie fisher people so we were entranced with the 20,000 gallon fresh water fish tank. It had most of the natural fish of Missouri, Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, Catfish, Blue Gill, Sunfish...all huge and safe from expert anglers like ourselves.		I was testing out one of my new lures - I think he almost went for it so we'll get this one and try it in the wild.
There were beautiful animal enclosures in every corner of this store. From these small snapping turtles to a 250lb Alligator turtle and a 50lb catfish. Most of the animals were either caught alive by anglers or were rescued by Parks and Wildlife and brought here for a sanctuary.	This one is for all our Jewish friends.		Look out, its a Grizzly!!	There were also ducks of all kinds swimming in the fish enclosures. This one only had one leg but he was king of the pond here.	These Rainbow Trout were a prize for any fisherman. Over 3 feet in length!
		Unfortunately we had to leave Outdoor World occassionaly, we were getting a Vitamin D deficiancy from staying inside that monument to sportsmen too long. As you know, Fene loves buffaloes and cannot pass up a chance to snap a picture of one. Although we saw the REAL white buffaloes in Arizona (see albums in May 2004).	Look at the fish I caught with my new lure!	Allright, allright so taking up fishing has made a liar out of me.	The wedding party and close friends. Alan is sitting across from me having a Slow Comfortable Screw before the ceremony that night. (Its a drink, honest)
