There were great petroglyphs along the Colorado River. They were about 10 feet above the ground so it looks like the river basin has lowered in the last 500 years since this artwork was done.
The mighty Colorado River just lazily wondered through this sandstone scenery. There were dinosaur tracks through this region, I wonder if one of them drank from this very spot?
I was standing on the road and the sheer cliffs rose straight up.
