Santa Cruz, CA September 2006

The spinnaker sails were a beatiful sight mixed with the sun and the water.

While on our way down the coast of California to Los Angeles to fly to Panama we stopped in Santa Cruz. We had never been and I had ready about the Wednesday Regatta cruises by the Santa Cruz Yacht Club. There is a 70' sloop that goes out every Wednesday and you can hitch a ride and drink some wine and enjoy the race from the water.

Marilyn fell in love with sailing. She thought the spinnaker sail made a very dramatic picture.

And of course we made some friends along the way. This couple was the East Coast and was visiting family. We had a blast.

The lone sailor.
